How holey moley Built a Visual Brand Across Three Texas Cities

When Fun Labs brought Holey Moley Golf Club to Texas, they needed more than just a photographer. So they brought in Zorgi Creative, a team that handles brand photography, video production, lifestyle shoots, and launch event coverage across three main expansion locations.

THE CHALLENGE

Launching a Multi-Location Venue Brand in Texas

Holey Moley Golf Club is a leading mini-golf and entertainment venue created by Fun Labs with over 15 locations across Australia.

As they set their sights on the US market, they partnered with Zorgi Creative to develop a robust portfolio of visual assets to support their brand’s growth and visibility.

They needed a creative who could capture the same playful, nostalgic energy across three separate markets without the work feeling like three disconnected shoots.

The challenge: make every location feel like Holey Moley, make every piece of content feel human and scroll-worthy, and deliver a library of assets that the marketing and PR teams could actually use across Instagram, paid campaigns, and press.

HOW WE WORKED TOGETHER

From conversation to campaign

Our collaboration began with a discussion with Fun Labs' campaign marketing and PR teams on how we can best capture the vibrant spirit and unique experience that they offer.

On our call, we talked over the brand’s goals, their target audiences, and what success looks like across the Texas market. From there, we coordinated a series of shoots across Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.

We bring a brand to life by creating scenes that ooze joy and excitement.

Your customers can feel the fun they’re going to experience at your venue through our imagery.

Our goal for this shoot was to capture the playful and nostalgic spirit of Holey Moley Golf Club.

Here’s how we achieved this:

The Lifestyle Shoot

DIRECTION
Cast Coordination
We hired and directed a group of diverse models and actors who not only posed but were playing, reacting, and actually having a good time.

STYLING
90s-inspired wardrobe
Bright, bold, nostalgic. Wardrobing was part of our brief — the styling had to carry Holey Moley's nostalgic energy before anyone read a word.

CONTROL
Controlled Environment
We shot in a controlled setting to get consistent, repeatable results across the asset library — no hoping the lighting works out.

OUTPUT
Multi-format assets
Every session produced stills, vertical video, and horizontal video — the full library a multi-channel brand actually needs from a single shoot.

Using our talented models, we staged several “private events” to create effective marketing assets that resonate with Holey Moley’s variety of audiences.

By creating scenes of pure fun and excitement, we aimed to encourage viewers to join in on the experience.

We coordinated a series of shoots to encapsulate every aspect of Holey Moley’s brand. We’ve got these in horizontal and vertical, because your audience lives everywhere.

How Holey Moley uses our work

Every session was planned to produce multi-format assets like stills, vertical video, horizontal video.

Fun Labs walked away with an extensive content library built for every channel.

Want to see what this looks like for your Business?

We work with bars, restaurants, venues, and experience-based businesses on everything from launch coverage to monthly content.

We’ll start with a quick call. No pitch, just a conversation about what you're building.

A cozy indoor lounge area with purple and pink neon lighting, a red leather sofa, modern chairs, a yellow rug, and wall art of mannequins and vintage advertisements.

Venue Photography

Prior to each venue’s opening, Zorgi captured polished venue photos of the full site, along with exterior drone, and video walkthroughs.

Photos & footage were used to promote the venue prior to opening, showcase the space to internal & external teams, and build the base of visual assets for the location.

Event Coverage

To mark the grand openings of Holey Moley Golf Club’s Austin and Houston locations, we captured the excitement and energy of their launch parties.

The launch events were a blend of golfing, dancing, and enjoying signature cocktails. This allowed us to capture several assorted assets in line with Holey Moley’s brand.

Common questions from venue and hospitality clients

We've hired photographers before and ended up with a handful of usable shots.

How is this different?

1

The difference is in how the shoot is planned. Before we book anything, we talk through what you actually need — which platforms, which formats, which brand moments. We're not arriving to document; we're arriving to build an asset library. The Holey Moley campaign produced content for Instagram, their website, paid campaigns, and press from the same set of sessions.

That's exactly the kind of work we do best. Austin is home base, but we traveled to Houston and San Antonio for this campaign. If you need consistent coverage across locations or want a team that can show up monthly for ongoing content, that's a conversation we'd love to have.

Can you handle multiple locations or a series of shoots over time?

2

Both, but ongoing is where we do our best work. When we know your brand well — the audience, the energy, what performs — the content gets sharper. A lot of our venue and hospitality clients started with an event and now we handle their monthly content. If that sounds useful, we can talk through what it would look like for you.

Do you work with brands on an ongoing basis or just one-off shoots?

3

We don't have a marketing team.

Can you help us figure out what to make?

4

Yes. For retainer clients, we're not just showing up to shoot — we help plan what gets made, how it's formatted for each platform, and what the content calendar looks like. You run your business. We handle the content side.
